Water-proof anti-drying enzymatic O₂ cathode for bioelectric skin patch

The results of the research which Prof.  Nishizawa (Principal Investigator of FRiD, School of Engineering)  leads were released to the press.

Highlights
• A water-proof enzymatic O2 cathode for a bioelectric skin patch was developed.

• A hydrophobic, oxygen-permeable membrane was laminated to the cathode electrode.

• The microspace at their interface served as the oxygen reservoir.
