JPS “Outstanding Paper Award” Introduction Video
The paper we published in 2021 (H. Kurasawa, T. Suda, and T. Suzuki, Prog. Theor. Exp. Phys., 2021, 013D02, https://doi.org/10.1093/ptep/ptaa177) was selected for the 30th Outstanding Paper Award of the Physical Society of Japan.
Recently, JPS released a video introducing our work. Please have a look:

Traditionally, electron scattering was believed to be sensitive only to the proton distribution inside nuclei. Our paper was the first in the world to overturn this view, demonstrating that electron scattering can also provide information on the neutron distribution. Using electron-scattering data for ^{48}Ca and ^{208}Pb, we showed that the neutron radius—and therefore the neutron skin thickness—can be determined experimentally.
