LEES2024 International Workshop Held at Tohoku University’s Katahira Campus (October 28 – November 1, 2024)

We hosted the LEES2024 (Low-Energy Electron Scattering for Nucleon and Exotic Nuclei) workshop from October 28 to November 1, 2024, at the TFC Hall on Tohoku University’s Katahira Campus.

This workshop focused on discussing our research advancements on proton structure and short-lived unstable nuclei through low-energy electron scattering, conducted at the RARiS facility of Tohoku University and the RIKEN RI Beam Factory. The event welcomed 60 participants, including 26 international attendees from seven countries, who actively shared research findings and engaged in lively discussions. Reception events, excursions, and a banquet provided further opportunities for researchers to connect, fostering collaborations for future projects.
