Professor S. KARATAGLIDIS, University of Johannesburg, South Africa, is staying at ELPH for three weeks from Monday, September 26 under the JSPS Fellowship Program. Today, Sep. 27, he visited the 1st experimental hall to see the newly constructed ULQ2 beam line (ULQ2 : Ultra-Low Q2), whose purpose is to determine the proton charge radius by elastic electron scattering with the lowest-ever beam energy, Ee = 10 – 60 MeV. He met the ULQ2 group members who were preparing an experiment starting the next week.
