It is the entry of different elements that moves the equilibrium. In research as well, a new field is created when two different fields encounter. A researcher often searches for a solution in the dark, and then a new idea or a piece of information suddenly jumps in from unexpected directions, and the darkness in front of you may clear up. He may think how lucky he was. He would not have appreciated the same information earlier. He would have given up on working the problem without any clue if it comes later. It’s almost a miracle that this information jumps in at this timing of thinking about the problem. However, such information may be in front of you all the time. I want you to make many such encounters with FRiD.
