Kim Gould

Kim Gould is a passionate, proactive, health and safety advocate who serves as a Manager of Health and Safety at Canada Post. As lifelong learner and passionate advocate for safe working conditions, she drives problem solving techniques and employee education regarding hazards and risks, to empower others to make informed decisions about their health, safety and wellness in the workplace.
As a strong communicator, Kim has been instrumental in fostering the development of healthy and safe workplaces through comprehensive risk assessments and by collaborating on innovative solutions tailored to the needs of employees. At Canada Post, she has worked alongside various stakeholders to design and implement pioneering enterprise-wide national health and safety initiatives and programs, like our Snow Flake Rated boots program and new high visibility uniforms.
With over 25 years of experience across multiple organizations, Kim has led transformative change and cultivated robust organizational cultures through the principles of psychological health and safety, organizational values and behaviours and empathic listening. She has also provided guidance to leadership in the establishment of effective health and safety programs.
Before joining Canada Post in 2010, Kim contributed to health and safety initiatives at Siemens VDO within the automotive sector, where she led a team in the implementation of a third-party audited and certified OHSAS 18001 program.
Kim has earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree from the University of Windsor and is a Canadian Registered and Safety Professional (CRSP). Kim is a member of the board for Minerva Canada and a member of the CSA Standards Committee (Z195 Protective footwear).
