On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you to the 10^th International Symposium on Functional Materials (ISFM2024) held on Aug. 3^rd-6^th , 2024, in Sendai, Japan.
Functional material research has attracted the attention of many active researchers because of its advantages in processing nanostructured materials and its wide variety of technological applications. Since 2005, the ISFM series conferences have been successfully held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia, 2005), Hangzhou (China, 2007), Jinju (Korea, 2009), Sendai (Japan, 2011), Perth (Australia, 2012), Singapore(2014), Changchun (China, 2016), Aachen (Germany, 2018), Hwaseong (Korea, 2021, Hybrid). The ISFM2024 conference in Sendai will focus on science and technology related to the following major categories: environmental materials, electronic materials, energy materials, biomedical materials, and other related functional materials. The purpose of the ISFM2024 symposium is to provide a platform for the world’s scientists, engineers, and researchers. ISFM2024 attempts to share in the latest innovations, advances, and future multidisciplinary research with the primary focus on the connection between fundamental science, engineering applications, and commercialization of products.
